The Dulong River

The Dulong River rises in Tibet, and runs 80 kilometers in Yunnan Province. Only one nationality-the Dulong Nationality-inhabits both sides of the river, so the river is named after it. On the west side of the Dulong River are the 4,000 meters DanDanglika Mountains, and on the east side are the 5,000-meter Gaoligongshan Mountains. The two great mountains that rise and fall with lofty peaks and vast forests give a magnificent view.
